From time to time you may notice that the sound, or more accurately actor's speech is out of sync with their mouth movements - it is either behind a second or two or in front.
There are 2 things to check here starting with the easiest one:
1. Whilst in playback if you bring up the control menu (that has stop, pause, fast forward, rewind and so on) and scroll along to the one that looks like a speaker (for volume), click on on this option and you will find an option in there that allows you to adjust the sound synchronisation.
2. In system settings, playback settings, check that hardware acceleration is selected - on some builds this may be off since there were issues with this under previous versions of Kodi. If when the video starts and it is jerky just tap rewind and then play and that usually sorts it out.
If I setup your stick then it is likely that the weather being shown is for Rojales. If you want to change your location for the weather, it's quite easy, just go into settings, then find weather, click settings, location 1 and enter your location. Wait a short while and hopefully it will find your location. Select it with ok. Then ok to come out. Back your way out and you're done.
Found Sky Sports channels in the UK Turks plugin (I was using Merlin Basic but should be in other builds which have UK Turks) - there is a 'Sports' section.
Live TV section also has wide range of freeview and some other channels.
Looks like the stream links are updated frequently too. Some of the links might be from the Sports Devil plugin, so that's probably one worth checking too.
You will be presented with a choice of links, I tried 3 but I suspect the other ones may work as well. Quality is variable. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal and that you aren't downloading anything from your laptop!
Please share your tips with other Firestick users here, for example if you've found a reliable link to a particular TV station, tell us which build you are using (eg. Balinor, Nemesis), then which section you went to (eg. Films, TV etc..) and if necessary the plugin - explain to us all the steps you took to access that.
If it's a really good tip, I will try and include it in the next update to the guide along with some screen shots!
